Google Affiliate Network Privacy Notice

The Google Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you use Google services, including information provided when you use Google Affiliate Network. In addition, the following describes privacy practices specific to Google Affiliate Network.
Personal information
- Google requests personal information from prospective advertisers and publishers as part of the application to join Google Affiliate Network.
- With the exception of certain legacy accounts existing as of the date of this notice, you need a Google Account to access Google Affiliate Network as either an advertiser or publisher. Google asks for some personal information when you create a Google Account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. A Google Account allows you to access many of our services that require registration. Note that Google may require legacy accounts to migrate to a Google Account to continue using Google Affiliate Network.
Uses and Sharing
- Google maintains and processes personal information in order to provide Google Affiliate Network and to facilitate both prospective and active relationships between advertisers and publishers that use Google Affiliate Network. Google may disclose advertiser and publisher contact information to facilitate communication between advertisers and publishers.
- Certain publisher-provided information and publisher usage data is provided to advertisers to assist advertisers in evaluating whether to work with that publisher. Examples of this include publisher contact information, list of publisher web sites, and recent publisher performance history in the form of aggregated statistics.
- Certain advertiser-provided information and advertiser usage data is provided to publishers to assist publishers in evaluating whether to work with that advertiser. Examples of this include advertiser contact information, list of advertiser web sites, and recent advertiser performance history in the form of aggregated statistics.
